Effects of Dichlorprop and GA3 on Micro - structure of ´ Tsugaru ´ Apple Fruit Cells during Storage

Abstract

|
The experiment was conducted to study the effects of preharvest applications of dichlorprop (2,4-DP) and GA₃ on cell structure of ´Tsugaru´ apples. Dichlorprop treated fruits had more shrink flesh cells and weaker cohesiveness between cells resulted from breakdown of middle lamella than other treated fruits. CA stored fruits had firmer cell integrity than other stored fruits.
